The Company
Mintdale Engineering are proud to be a fourth-generation family run business, who have supplied precision engineered parts to clients throughout the UK and internationally in a variety of key industries for almost 50 years.
Mintdale was established in 1976 by our current Managing Director, Mr Chris Toyne, together with his father-in-law Ken and his wife Christine, who served as Company Secretary. Since then, the business has remained proudly family-run. Chris and Christine’s son Jason later joined the company and now serves as Director and Production Manager, alongside his wife Julie, also a Director.
Today, the fourth generation has stepped into the business, with Jason and Julie’s daughters, Jess and Jorjia, now working full-time at Mintdale, continuing the family legacy.
Over the years we have moved from producing one-off specials to medium to high volume automated production, supplying subcontract engineered parts. Investing in the very latest CNC technology we have turning centres with sub-spindles with live tooling and magazine bar feeds to enable one-hit machining. We have machining centres with rotary axis for complex milled items. Also, clean medical assembly, brazing and induction brazing to medical and refrigeration standards.
