Mintdale’s services include CNC turn and mill, quality brazing, clean assembly, leak testing. Other services include ultrasonic de-greasing, grinding, welding, manual milling and drilling, manual turning, manual and vibrator de-burring, linishing, marking, de-greasing, cutting billets to size and pressing. Generally the lead time from time of order is approximately four working weeks, subject to material availability and current workload. Please feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.
Mintdale can machine a large variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and plastic to name but a few. Please visit the Materials page for more information.
The factory is open from 7am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm on Fridays although some machines are worked 24/7. The offices are open until 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm on Fridays.
As a rule of thumb Mintdale’s capability / capacity is limited to items that can be held and lifted by hand, however we do have a 5 tonne overhead crane if required. CNC turning from 3mm to 250mm diameter / hexagon with a maximum length of 250mm. CNC milling table size is 350mm x 900mm with a maximum working height of 500mm.
Mintdale employs time served engineers who would be able to assist if you have any questions relating to anything, ranging from materials to machining and lots in between and assistance with design-for manufacture.
Mintdale are able to supply all areas of mainland UK, they are able to deliver using their own company vehicles or use trusted delivery partners for small parcels or large pallets, generally on a next day delivery.

Mintdale was created in 1976 by the current Managing Director, Mr Chris Toyne and is proud to be a family business.
Mintdale works to the ISO 9001 quality management system which was implemented in 1993 and has the ISO 140001 environmental standard.
After credit checking the potential customer payment, terms are on a proforma basis for the first order then 30 days end of month for subsequent orders, payments can be made by BACS or by using FPS.
